A loss in our family

I'm sad to report that we lost our precious heeler, Dally on Sunday morning. She was hit by a car. We were so devastated, but know that she is being well taken care of now.

Watching the roping

We went to the wedding roping for a friend of ours. Braden of course had to dress the part - wearing her boots. She wouldn't have it any other way! :)

Go Bulldogs

We took Braden to the football game in Banquete, Joe's old stompin' grounds. She had so much fun watching the game, cheerleaders and the band. The Bulldog even game her a football.

A little firefighter

Braden has become fascinated with fire trucks. She sits on the dock at the feed store waiting for the trains(his store is right by the tracks) and the fire trucks to come by. She knows where the fire station is downtown and by my parents house and looks for them when we drive by. One of Poppy's customers is a fireman and told us to go to the station for a visit. They were so nice to her, they let her drive, turned on the lights and gave her stickers. She loved it!!! She had to count all the trucks and ambulances in the station. Thanks to the Corsicana Fire Department for the kindness to a little girl! It made her day!

This time we're actually working....

This time Braden was actually working, well sort of! She had to help Omar push the dolly back after loading feed! He is so good to her and she just loves him.

Working hard

Braden loves to go to the feed store with Poppy. She really works hard. As you can tell, she is "working" on aggravating Omar! She just loves him! They were playing peek-a-boo through the mail slot!

Finally some cooler weather!!!

Yes!!!! We finally got some cooler weather. Braden and I could play outside without sweating through our clothes. We did some strolling yesterday at Grammy and Poppy's! Did a little posing, played with the kitty and just walked around enjoying the nice afternoon! Hope it will stay like this for a while! I was a little disappointed that I didn't have my camera (battery's dead), but that's ok, had Grammy's!
